The speaker for this month's program will be Dick Crysdale, author of the book, Yellowstone,
Cutthroats and Me. It's the story of his "love affair" with the cutthroats of Yellowstone Lake,
developed while a seasonal fishing guide and part-time ranger on the Lake in the 1950's and
early 60's. His passion is evident as he discusses the decline in this fishery and the
ecosystem surrounding it. Copies of his book will be available at the meeting.

Not a certification class, but anyone volunteering to rescue fish from canals would benefit from
understanding how electro-fishing works. The more everyone knows, the easier it is on the
fish.
